City Clerk
The City of Oakley is seeking applicants for a full-time City Clerk.  Oakley has a population of 2,098 and is located at the junction of I-70, Hwy 40 and Hwy 83 in western Kansas. Responsibilities of the City Clerk include: maintaining official city records, ordinances, resolutions and contracts; budgeting, accounting and financial matters of the City; preparing payroll and related reports; overseeing utility billing and accounts payable. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and public relation skills. The ideal applicant will have at least four years of similar or related experience.  A college degree in accounting, business, public administration or a related field is required.  A Certified Municipal Clerk is preferred.   Competitive benefits.
